Local food banks work with a variety of different agencies and charities to get food to those who need it most in difficult times. They provide support to families facing financial hardship and have to make the choice between paying essential bills or buying food.
There are several food banks operating across Maidstone and more information about these can be found on the Maidstone Family Food Bank website.
You can also find your nearest Food Bank via the Kent County Council website.
