Following my visit to Five Acre Wood School in Maidstone at the end of September, I was delighted to be able to add my voice to the debate in Parliament on Tuesday on the provision of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) – highlighting the brilliant work that they are doing.
I raised with both the Shadow Minister and Minister for Education the need for ringfenced funding with tracked impact measures for SEND schools.
I was pleased that the Minister agreed to take my suggestion away with her and I will be following up on her offer in the coming weeks.
