Kent's "Most Loved" Post Office commended by local MP Helen Grant

Yalding Post office has just been voted 'Most Loved'Post Office for Kent 2016, and to celebrate, local resident and MP for

 Maidstone and the Weald, Helen Grant stopped-by to congratulate Postmaster Tim Chapman.

Tim said 'I'm very proud and delighted about this award. It was voted by Kent people and belongs to the people of Yalding. It is very much their post office.

Helen said "Yalding Post Office is the beating heart of our village and very much represents the hub of a wonderful community here. I am delighted for Tim and June and my thanks go to everyone who voted."

The announcement was made at an awards ceremony hosted by Kent Rural Retailers (Action with communities in Rural Kent.) KRR work with local retailers in rural Kent in supporting and highlighting the important role village shops and Post Offices play in our communities.
