Helen Meets With Sixth Formers From Cranbrook School And The High Weald Academy

Helen Grant MP, the Member of Parliament for Maidstone and The Weald, visited Cranbrook School on Friday for a question and answer session with sixth form students from Cranbrook School and The High Weald Academy.

Helen opened the session with a slide show, including some photographs from her personal collection of her first three years as Maidstone and The Weald's Member of Parliament and her first year as a Minister.

She took questions on policy and gave frank answers on what happens in the day-to-day life of a politician.

Helen said: "It is always a pleasure to meet with young audiences. The questions from the sixth formers were mature and interesting. I feel I also learned a lot from the youngsters about their views and I hope that many of them will go on to glittering futures".
