Helen Grant MP announces new community outreach surgeries

Helen Grant MP, Member of Parliament for Maidstone & The Weald, has announced two further community outreach surgeries owing to the popularity of her regular surgeries at Asda Living on St Peter Street, Sainsbury's in Romney Place and Waitrose in Allington.

Helen will now be operating outreach surgeries from Maidstone Hospital's main reception, with the first one this Friday July 4th between 12-1pm and another at the Co-op on Cranbrook High Street, where she will be on Friday 18th July between 2-3pm.

Commenting on the news, Helen said:

"I am absolutely thrilled to have agreed these new locations for my outreach surgeries. It's been fantastic to meet so many constituents over the past few months, whether just for a chat while they shop or to offer support on a particular issue. I've had some great feedback on the easy-access and informal nature of the drop-in sessions and I'm delighted to be able announce these new locations and dates today.

"I hope being at Maidstone Hospital will enable me to engage with constituents who might find it more difficult to attend pre-arranged appointments, and my new surgery at the Co-op in Cranbrook will look to build on the success of my 3 other supermarket surgeries, making it easier for Cranbrook residents to drop-in"
