Halloween Helen visits Team Tutsham at their fundraising spooktacular

1st November 2014, West Farleigh, Maidstone; Dozens of ghastly ghouls gathered together on Tutsham Farm, West Farleigh last Saturday, attempting to out-do each other in a fundraising fancy dress competition.

Children and parents alike donned their darkest drapes and paraded before chief judge Helen Grant MP to see who was the most fearsome fiend of frightnight.

The evening was organised by Team Tutsham, a charity based at the farm which provides opportunities for children from all backgrounds to work with horses and gain all that comes from rural and farmyard activities whilst developing personal and social skills.

Helen said:

'It was a marvellous evening with themed haunted walks, a sizzling BBQ and a wonderfully engaged throng of halloweeners. It was tough deciding upon the competition winners as everyone had made such a big effort. In the end I picked a zombie with his head sewn back on, a pair of little devils and the dark spectre of Death as my top three. Thank you to organiser Kerry Smith who invited me to the event.'

Team Tutsham are presently raising funds for a new sand school at the farm. Enquiries and donations please contact Maxine Buckby 07971 298337 www.teamtutsham.co.uk
