Festive fun at MP's Christmas surgeries

The MP for Maidstone and the Weald, Helen Grant, held her final two surgeries of the year today at Asda Living in Maidstone and Tesco in Tovil with Christmas cheer aplenty.

Speaking afterwards, the MP commented:

"My outreach surgeries at supermarkets across the constituency, and at Maidstone Hospital, have proved very popular. They are convenient, accessible and allow people to share their concerns with me as a part of their normal daily routine. They will continue in 2015 and I would like to thank all the supermarket and hospital staff who make these drop-in surgeries possible.

"I was pleased to see so many people on the last Friday before Christmas and I will be taking up their cases over the Christmas recess. My first surgery in the New Year will be by appointment at my office at Maidstone East Station on Friday 9th January. Please get in touch if you would like to get booked in helen.grant.mp@parliament.uk or 0207 219 7107"
