Charity Rowathon!

Helen drops by Dandelion Time, West Farleigh

Dandelion Time have been running their 4th annual 'rowathon' fundraiser in recent weeks, raising money for their work in supporting children who have experienced traumatic personal circumstances.

The target this year was to row the 2000 mile equivalent of circumnavigating Britain and took place from 9th - 13th October. There were twenty teams invited to help achieve the goal, each aiming at 100 miles of sponsored rowing.

And as in previous years, local MP Helen Grant signed up to add her support to the cause, attending the Dandelion Time house in West Farleigh.

Helen said 'Dandelion Time is a very special organisation providing a vital niche service for a very needy and vulnerable section of society. I was not surprised to learn that they were voted Kent's best Children's Charity of the Year in March and I am always pleased to be able to offer support wherever I can'.
